Biography
Born in Buenos Aires. Studied philosophy and visual arts at the University of Buenos Aires.
from Rosario. She arrived in Paris in 1990 and was invited to the Ecole des Beaux-Arts; he currently lives and produces in Paris, Rosario and Buenos Aires. Her work is linked to her political experience in Argentina in the 1970s, with the disappearance, prison and exile in France. Today he is constituted as a meeting point between two different geographical spheres, Latin America and the northern hemisphere. Through her productions from a feminist point of view, she is committed to reflecting on critical and aesthetic models between North and South, questioning language in its capacity to translate personal and collective stories.
Her conceptual works function as poetic propositions that unfold and decline in text, drawing, sculpture, film, neon, poster, etc. His proposal is part of a work in progress that he calls Affective Translation and is developed in various interdisciplinary projects based on the role of the artist as a translator-interpreter.
